BMW Bargains – The best buys right now are the sports cars, convertibles and performance cars as they have the highest sticker prices and suffer the highest levels of depreciation after sale.  Luxury performance cars suffer a similar fate but they do tend to hold their prices a little better than the high performace sports models such as the M3 / M3 convertible.

The key to getting the best deal at a car auction is to plenty of market research so you know exactly what your looking at and can identify a bargain very easily. BMW is offering two versions of the car — the Z4 sDrive30i and the Z4 sDrive35i. The standard model is fitted with a 3.0-liter DOHC inline six-cylinder engine rated at 255 horsepower and 220 pound-feet of torque. The uplevel variant gets BMW’s sensational twin-turbo, direct-injection 3.0-liter six that delivers 300 hp and 300 lb-ft. Both engines come with a standard six-speed manual gearbox. The Z4 sDrive30i can be equipped with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic, while the Z4 sDrive35i can be ordered with a new seven-speed twin-clutch box; both automatics feature paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel.
