Best Price Deals On 2010 GMC Sierra 3500HD SLE Regular Cab Pickup’s.
The GMC Sierra is basically a Chevy Silverado with a few cosmetic changes. They are made in the same factory on the same platform, which GM calls the GMT 900 Heavy Duty. As you know, the 3500 HD is the biggest full size, heavy-duty truck GM has to offer. The market is fierce for HD pickups in the US, and it has produced an arena where everyone is putting out great products.

The 2010 GMC Sierra 3500HD SLE Regular Cab Pickup is the second of two trim levels. It is a full-size, heavy-duty pickup with an 8.2 foot bed. It has a 6.0 liter V8 engine that produces 312 horsepower and 373 pound-feet of torque. It has 16-inch steel wheels, rear-wheel drive, and a 6-speed automatic transmission with a manual shifter. Its maximum towing capacity is 12,600 pounds, and its maximum payload is 4,812 pounds. An upgrade to 4-wheel drive is available.
The SLE comes with a leather-covered tilt-only steering wheel, a 40/20/40 split front bench seat, cloth upholstery, air conditioning, cruise control, full power accessories, and keyless entry. The audio system has 4 speakers, AM/FM/satellite radio, a CD/MP3 player, and an audio jack.
The Sierra also has antilock brakes. Because it is a heavy-duty truck designed more for slow work and high-profile visibility, it doesn’t have side airbags or stability or traction control. No safety tests are available, but it never hurts to be the biggest vehicle in a collision.
Conclusions and driver feedback:
The interior is very nice on the SLE model. It is still made for work, but it has some touches that the “work truck” trim doesn’t. The design is still unpretentious and the dash is simple, but there is some wood trim with metallic accents that gives a more prosperous appearance to the cabin. The seats are spacious and comfortable. The only negative to them is that a smaller driver may have to put a cushion behind his back as a shim.
The steering is easy for a heavy-duty truck. It is much more responsive than one would expect, but it doesn’t come at the expense of the ride, which is surprisingly comfortable. For those into such things, you will find a rear locking differential and independent front suspension. All in all, the Sierra is a great choice for long trips or large loads.
When you get to the biggest trucks made by the Big Three, you really can’t go wrong. It’s usually a matter of brand loyalty or the mix-and-match of features. While we would prefer to see more safety features, this truck has enough old-school ability to make them not as important as on a standard passenger car.
The verdict: highly recommended, especially for professional use.
