Best Price On 2010 Chrysler Town and Country Touring’s.
The Town and Country has been around since 1990. It was originally a luxury version of the Dodge Caravan. It is now in its fifth generation, and isn’t really much different than the Caravan anymore except for the nameplate and a few cosmetic differences.

The 2010 Chrysler Town and Country Touring is a minivan, and is the third of six trim levels. It has a 3.8 liter V6 engine that produces 197 horsepower. It has 16-inch alloy wheels, front-wheel drive, and a 6-speed automatic transmission. It is rated at 16 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway.
The Town and Country Touring comes with a leather-covered tilt-only steering wheel, an 8-way power driver’s seat with height adjustment, rear seats that recline, a third row folding bench seat, cloth upholstery, keyless entry, cruise control, full-power accessories, a universal garage door remote, 12-volt outlets in the front and rear, a 115 volt outlet in the front, 2-zone air conditioning, a rear defogger, rear wipers, a roof rack, a rear power liftgate door, automatic headlights, foglights, and a trip computer. The audio system has 6 speakers, AM/FM/satellite radio, a CD/MP3 player, and an audio jack.
The Town and Country also comes with antilock brakes, side front airbags, side curtain airbags, stability control, traction control, and active front headrests. The Town and Country aced every front and side impact crash test from both the government (5 stars) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (“good”).
Conclusions and driver feedback:
The interior almost looks like it is a luxury minivan, but upon closer inspection, the materials are lower-grade, and some of the workmanship could be better. There is plenty of space in this minivan, and a lot of innovative features for family use, but it just isn’t executed very well.
The drive and ride are adequate, but nothing special. The engine is mediocre, too. All in all, this was a vehicle in sore need of an update. The update would come in the next model year, where nearly every fault listed here was addressed, and both the Town and Country and the Caravan would become very good minivans again.
The verdict: wait for the 2011 model.
